"The August House is a gem ! The decor is fabulous and the rooms are well-appointed. The breakfast is lovely, easy parking. Lots of little special touches at this place; too many to list. This is my second stay and I will definitely come back again. "

"Great Location! Walkable to great dinning options. One block down from the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site and walkable to the Museum of Natural History and the Public Gardens. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance as well. Technically you can walk to the waterfront in 7 minutes but we caught an Uber to and from the waterfront. They came within 3 minutes and it was not expensive. Halifax is a pretty hilly city so keep that in mind. "
